Souperb Cafe and Catering is owned by two longtime friends, Michael Griffin and Paul Tessoni. The two were fortunate to work alongside each other at Henry B's Italian Cuisine, where they planned and executed hundreds of events together. Souperb Cafe and Souperb Catering became a reality when Excutive Chef Michael decided it was time to take his passion to the next level. Mike and Paul were also surrounded by friends and family that kept telling them that they should take their expertise and passion and open a restaurant...and they did just that! 

A partnership between two passionate food enthusiasts ensued. Their mutual appreciation of the joy they get from helping clients exceed their own -and their guests'- expectations with exceptional food and exemplary service, continues to serve as the backbone of the entire operation. Nothing brings friends and family together like great food and good times, and Mike and Paul are honored to be a part of making this happen. It's the reason they are in business.

Executive Chef Michael Griffin has a true passion for food.  Since he was a boy he always dreamed of the day he could turn his passion into a career.  As with many, it took a career change to allow his dream to come to fruition. His love of food is real, but he gets the most satisfaction when  looking into a customers eyes and seeing that he's  given them a  new reason to love food.


Paul Tessoni's passion for food and entertaining evolved from being raised on his mother's apron strings in the kitchen of a large Italian family in upstate New York. While growing up in his household, food was the center of every gathering, bringing family and friends together.

Although not professionally trained, Paul's culinary creativeness has been enjoyed for many years by family and friends, and at the occasional charity events which he has been involved with. Paul looks forward to continuing his reputation of providing the highest level of service and his desire to exceed the expectations of all clients that Souperb Cafe and Catering serves.
